Roles & Responsibilities

Manager - Infrastructure - APAC

We are seeking for an Infrastructure Manager to support our expansion growth plans. In this exciting role, the Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining scalable and reliable IT infrastructure solutions. This role requires a good understanding of IT Networks, infrastructure technologies, cloud computing and security practices as well as the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Implement IT networks and infrastructure, acting as technical escalation point to both internal stakeholders and vendors
  • Coordinate and monitor IT network and infrastructure capability and performance
  • Support and run the infrastructure including servers hosting business critical applications
  • Conduct routine system health checks, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
  • Oversee patch management, firmware updates, and software deployments.
  • Serve as L1 / L2 support, SME on infrastructure components
  • Document, and coordinate infrastructure changes
  • Identify, assess and remediate risks related to infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining necessary documentation and controls
  • Document and execute business continuity and disaster recovery plans, ensuring readiness in case of disruptions
  • Ability to work collaboratively and supportive of relationships with IT Heads and senior stakeholders across the region and group

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT Networking (Cisco / Fortinet / Wireless Planning)
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Management (Windows / Linux)
  • Experience with Active Directory, Windows, Linux (Redhat) administration
  • Experience with Cloud Platform (Azure)
  • Experience with M365, Jira
  • Familiar with Monitoring tools (Entuity, NewRelic, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana etc)
  • Familiar with Hypervisors, containerization (VMWare / Docker / K8s)
  • Understanding of orchestration and automation (Ansible / Jenkins / Terraform)
  • Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering / Cloud Engineering
  • Familiar with ITIL frameworks e.g. ITIL / Agile
