Job Description

Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related qualification
Demonstrated relevant Electronics Product Design experience in areas such as :
Microprocessor / Microcontroller system design (preferably ARM processors)
Memory system designs
Logic Design for FPGA / CPLD / PAL devices
Ethernet and USB design, testing, certification
Digital electronics power supply circuits
Design tools for Schematic Capture and PCB Layout
EMI noise reduction techniques for PCB layout
Designing to EMC / EMI / ESD and safety regulatory certifications
Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, and Timing Analysis for Digital Circuits
Product testing for Environmental and Certification Test Standards
Experience in Functional Safety product development with IEC61508 (preferred)

Qualifications

Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of related experience

Ability to resolve complex issues creatively and effectively

Establishes operational objectives and work plans

Interacts with peers and customers to gain cooperation and present complex technical information

Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise
