Senior Director, USON Business Analytics and Transformation

Current Need

The Senior Director, USON Business Analytics and Transformation, is a key leadership role responsible for executing US Oncology's data and analytics strategy. The role involves overseeing data management, architecture, and decision intelligence platforms to enhance business decisions through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will have strategic vision, expertise in data management and AI, and strong leadership skills to foster innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership and Vision : Lead the direction for Data Intelligence platforms, aligning data initiatives with business goals and supporting growth and customer experience.
  • Innovation and Development : Develop advanced data products and analytics platforms supporting reporting, machine learning, and AI to solve complex challenges.
  • Operational Excellence : Ensure scalable, reliable, and secure data operations by adopting best practices in governance, quality, and security.
  • Portfolio Management : Manage the lifecycle of Data Intelligence products, from conception to deployment, ensuring strategic alignment and benefit realization.
  • Industry Leadership : Keep ahead of industry trends to position McKesson as a leader in healthcare analytics and identify growth opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Lead teams to deliver impactful data solutions, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Build relationships with senior stakeholders, communicating complex solutions effectively.
  • Talent Development : Develop a high-performing, diverse team, attracting top talent and supporting career growth.

Minimum Requirements

  • 13+ years of professional experience, including 6+ years of leadership and strategic planning experience.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale data and analytics functions, especially in healthcare.
  • At least 13 years in data engineering and analytics, with 7+ years in senior leadership roles.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), data modeling, warehousing, and ETL / ELT pipelines.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, PowerBI, Azure Synapse, Delta Sharing, Lakehouse architecture.
  • Understanding of Data Governance, security, and performance optimization in cloud environments.
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts into business strategies.
  • Skills in strategic planning, process optimization, and change management.

    • Additional Skills

  • Experience in Oncology or related healthcare practices.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or Pyspark for data manipulation.
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines using Git.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Experience Cloud.

    • Education

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.

    Salary Range : $185,700 - $309,500
