Roles & Responsibilities

We are supporting an established industrial operator in hiring a Mechanical Engineer to oversee the reliability and maintenance of rotating equipment across plant operations. This role involves ensuring high equipment uptime, driving reliability improvements, and managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for rotating equipment and mechanical systems
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective solutions
  • Manage CMMS updates, asset registration, and maintenance records
  • Lead reliability initiatives using FMEA, MTBF / MTTR tracking, and condition monitoring tools
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams on maintenance and upgrade works
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and engineering standards
  • Support training, performance reviews, and SOP development for technical teams
  • Drive continuous improvement and support engineering change processes

Requirements :

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Maintenance Engineering
  • 6+ years of experience in heavy industry, plant maintenance, or EPC / O&M projects
  • Strong knowledge in rotating equipment, CMMS systems, and reliability tools
  • Familiarity with industrial standards (API, ASME) and condition monitoring techniques
  • Strong communication, analytical, and team leadership skills
  • Able to work independently and respond to non-routine plant needs when required
