Our client is a leading global financial services firm with a strong presence across Asia. Known for its innovation, integrity, and international reach, the firm offers a full suite of investment banking, wealth management, and capital markets services. They are now seeking a Head of Transfer Pricing (Asia) to oversee strategy and compliance across the region. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing the firm’s regional transfer pricing strategy, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions while aligning with global tax and business objectives. This role will serve as the key liaison between tax, finance, legal, and business units across the region, and advise senior stakeholders on intercompany pricing, structuring, and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities :
Lead the design, implementation, and governance of transfer pricing policies across Asia, aligned with global standards and local regulationsManage transfer pricing documentation, compliance, and reporting for all relevant jurisdictions in AsiaProvide strategic guidance on cross-border transactions, intercompany service arrangements, and funding structuresCollaborate with finance and business teams to assess transfer pricing implications of new products, business models, and expansion activitiesOversee transfer pricing audits and manage relationships with local tax authorities and external advisorsConduct transfer pricing risk assessments and maintain robust documentation to support intercompany arrangementsMonitor and assess regulatory developments in the region, including OECD BEPS initiatives and local transfer pricing legislationSupport global tax planning and restructuring initiatives involving the Asia regionLead, mentor, and develop a team of transfer pricing specialists across key Asian marketsRequirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CA, CTA) preferredMinimum 10 years of experience in transfer pricing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the financial services industry or Big 4Deep understanding of regional and global transfer pricing rules, OECD guidelines, and BEPS frameworkProven experience managing complex transfer pricing issues and audits in AsiaStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work cross-functionally in a matrixed and multinational organizationRegional exposure to key markets including China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, and IndiaEA Licence No : 23S1615
