Key Responsibilities :
- Support installation, qualification, and ramp-up of AMAT Dry Etch systems (e.g., Centura DPS+, Producer Etch).
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, vacuum, gas, RF, and robotics systems.
- Respond to customer requests and escalations, collaborating with AMAT technical support and engineering teams.
- Maintain and improve tool performance KPIs (Uptime, MTBF, MTTR).
- Execute system upgrades, retrofits, and engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Log and document service activities accurately in internal tracking systems (e.g., SAP, Clarify).
- Communicate technical updates and findings with both internal teams and customer engineers.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
- Ensure full compliance with cleanroom protocols, EHS regulations, and Applied Materials safety standards.
Requirements : Education :
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.Experience :
Minimum 2-5 years experience in semiconductor equipment engineering or field service.Hands-on experience with Applied Materials dry etch platforms (Centura, DPS, Producer) preferred.Prior work experience in Singapore-based fabs (e.g., Micron, GlobalFoundries, Siltronic) is a plus.Technical Skills :
Strong troubleshooting skills in vacuum, RF, plasma, and robotic handling systems.Familiarity with cleanroom tools, safety protocols, and fab operations.Ability to interpret equipment schematics, interlock logic, and service manuals.Soft Skills :
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interface with customer engineers.Highly responsible, self-driven, and comfortable working independently or in small teams.Willingness to work rotating shifts and provide on-call or weekend support when required.Preferred Qualifications :
AMAT OEM training or certification on etch tools.Familiarity with FDC / SPC systems (e.g., Rudolph, PEER Group), MES, or SECS / GEM protocols.Lean Six Sigma awareness or experience in yield / improvement initiatives.Work Environment :
Work is performed in a Class 100 cleanroom in customer fabs located in Singapore.Must wear full cleanroom attire for extended periods.
