Job Descriptions :

• To assist the occupier of the workplace or other person in charge of the workplace to identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes therein;
• To recommend to the occupier of the workplace or other in charge of the workplace reasonably practicable measures and safe work procedures to control & mitigate such risks to prevent incident occurrences;
• To assist in implementing & reviewing such measures or safe work procedures to prevent workplace accidents;
• To investigate any incidents / accidents and advise on the remedial measures to be taken to prevent any recurrence;
• To work closely with the relevant authorities on safety, health and environmental matters;
• To administer and implement an effective Environmental, Health and Safety Management System (EHSMS) in accordance with prevailing legislation and preparation for third-party external EHS audits;
• Conduct Environmental, Health and Safety Audits as per requirements;
• Making certain that all ordinances or orders bearing on occupational safety and health and environmental are complied with the governing laws;
• To prepare and conduct the EHS trainings for all employees which are identified in RA and SWP;
• Measure and monitor the WSH performance of the project and discuss WSH performance in the WSH committee meetings and recommend areas for improvement;
• Perform ECO and ECMO duties as assigned; and
• Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior / management deem fit.
