About the Team : As the Finance Business Partner at ByteDance and a key member of the Global Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in driving TikTok's continued growth and success. Based in our Singapore office, you will support global business functions while aligning with global finance strategies, ensuring flexibility and adaptability to regional needs. Your responsibilities will include financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and process optimization. You will collaborate closely with other finance business partners and cross-functional teams worldwide, contributing to informed decision-making and sustainable business growth. ByteDance seeks a Finance Business Partner with over 5 years of relevant experience to support our live business operations in Asian countries. This individual contributor role requires working onsite five days a week and offers opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Financial Budgeting : Participate in financial planning for core business areas, including revenue, costs, and long-term planning. Monitor budget implementation, conduct variance analysis, and update forecasts regularly to support business decisions.
  • Special Project Analysis : Conduct detailed analysis of major costs and revenue fluctuations, propose cost reduction strategies, and analyze key indicators and their correlations across various dimensions.
  • Activity and Project-based Budget Management : Coordinate resource efficiency assessments and financial reviews of major activities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

  • At least 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or similar roles like Finance Business Partner or Finance Strategy.
  • Proven success in driving finance-led initiatives such as cost savings, process optimization, and financial data transformation.
  • Proficient in data analysis, ROI, financial modeling, and analysis.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, self-motivation, and critical thinking skills.
  • Adaptable and proactive in collaborating with cross-functional and international teams.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in Mandarin for engaging with Chinese stakeholders.
  • Experience in fast-paced, international organizations, especially within internet, media, or TMT industries.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Power BI.
  • Certifications such as CFA or CPA are a plus.
