As a cafe cook of a pastry shop, you will specialize in handmade sandwiches, pastries, and light café-style dishes. You will work closely with the café team to ensure high-quality food, smooth service, and a welcoming environment for all patrons.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee food preparation, presentation and service to guarantee consistent quality and timely delivery
- Simple and basic baking of pastries
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Manage inventory, ordering and budgeting for the kitchen department
- Collaborate with the management team to identify new opportunities, recipe testing and continuously improve operations
- Create and follow SOPs to cook and prepare simple cafe-style dishes
- Guide part-timers and communicate clearly with the team
- Stay organised, on-task, and consistent with daily routines
