Job Description

Purpose :

The Senior Associate works with the tax team to provide tax advisory and compliance services to a mixed portfolio of corporate and individual clients.

Core Responsibilities :

Work with the tax team to provide tax compliance services to a mixed portfolio of corporate and individual clients.
Support clients on the queries raised by the IRAS, including tax audits.
Assist with tax advisory and consulting assignments.
Build and manage relationship with clients.
Core responsibilities will include reviewing work done by junior members of the tax team.

Tasks / Duties :

Review / preparation of corporate and individual tax computations and returns.

Liaise with IRAS and the client on tax related matters.

Handle withholding tax returns, applications for Certificate of Residence and other matters in relation to tax.

Attending to queries issued by the IRAS.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting or Professional qualifications;

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Singapore Corporate Tax and Individual Tax;

Attained / attaining accreditation from Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals (SCTP) would be an added advantage;

Good knowledge of Income Tax Act;

Familiar with Microsoft Office;

Attention to details, organised, strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, and a positive work attitude;

Ability to manage multiple assignments at the same time;

Independent worker, shows initiative and a team player.
