Job Summary :
We are looking for a strategic and experienced HR professional to manage the full spectrum of human resource functions in compliance with Singapore employment regulations. The Human Resource Manager will play a key role in driving people-related strategies and policies to support our business goals in the premium liquor distribution industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement HR policies and practices in line with Singapore's Employment Act, Fair Consideration Framework (FCF), and Tripartite Guidelines.
- Lead recruitment and talent acquisition processes in a fair and merit-based manner, ensuring job advertisements and selection criteria comply with TGFEP.
- Manage onboarding, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Oversee work pass applications and renewals (e.g. EP, S Pass, WP) in accordance with MOM regulations.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary matters fairly and in compliance with statutory procedures.
- Administer payroll, statutory contributions (CPF, SDL, SHG, etc.), benefits, and leave management.
- Drive performance management and appraisal systems, aligning staff goals with business outcomes.
- Identify training needs and coordinate relevant upskilling or compliance-related programs (e.g. WSQ training).
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, including personal files and regulatory documentation.
- Serve as the point of contact for HR audits, MOM inspections, and compliance checks.
Requirements :
Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, including experience in Singapore's regulatory environment.Familiar with local employment legislation, including the Employment Act, CPF Act, and Workplace Safety and Health Act.Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.HR certifications such as IHRP-CP or SHRM-CP will be advantageous.For interested applicants, please email your UPDATED CV to agnes@careerstar.com.sg .
