Roles & Responsibilities
The Job
You will be part of the Finance Team reporting to the Financial Controller. You are responsible to handle Financial Reporting function including preparation of Statutory Financial Statements, Consolidated SGX Announcement Report, Annual Reports and Monthly Management Report.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and present, accurate financial, management and regulatory reports for submission in a timely manner to management, corporate and regulatory stakeholders
- Quarterly preparation of consolidated financial reports for management, corporate and regulatory stakeholders in compliance with applicable financial reporting standards, local statutory guidelines and SGX listing requirements
- Review of all subsidiaries’, associates’ and joint ventures’ accounts to ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting standards and internal policies and guidelines.
- Ensure accuracy and timely recording of accounting transactions, preparation of management reports and management schedules
- Review quarterly GST submissions
- Coordinate with subsidiaries / associated companies / joint ventures on data request & queries
- Highlight any anomalies that require investigation
- Support preparation of annual budgets, planning & analysis of reports, and tracking of actual performance against budgets
- Liaise with auditors and tax agents on the Group’s financial matters and tax matters
- Prepare and present all necessary analyses and explanation of variances
- Provide guidance to the junior staff in Finance Team
- Assist on project work and other ad-hoc duties where appropriate
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance; with ACCA / ISCA certificate, preferredAt least 5 years’ relevant working experience (SGX reporting experience is preferable)Conversant in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)Constantly updated with new regulations and accounting standardsStrong computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office, especially MS ExcelPossess strong data analytical skillsGood interpersonal and communication skillsTell employers what skills you have
