We are seeking a highly skilled RF Field Application Engineer (FAE) to collaborate closely with customers, offering expert technical guidance and support in RF-based solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of RF technologies and a strong customer-focused approach to ensure seamless product integration, troubleshooting, and optimization for a variety of applications.

Job Description

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Provide technical support and guidance to RF Wireless customers, both pre-sales and post-sales
Analyze customer requirements, troubleshoot RF applications, and develop solutions such as demos, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and technical proposals
Design and implement RF Wireless systems, assisting in signal chain identification, component selection, and system integration
Develop reference designs and demo applications to showcase RF Wireless technologies
Conduct technical seminars, workshops, and training sessions to educate customers on RF Wireless solutions and best practices
Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, whitepapers, and application notes
Gather customer feedback and relay insights to product and engineering teams to influence future RF product development
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams, providing technical expertise during product demonstrations and customer engagements

Requirements

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE :

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronic Engineering or related field

5+ years of experience in RF / Microwave electronics engineering applications

Proficiency in RF Wireless technologies, including Cellular, RF Microwave, Bluetooth (BT), and WLAN

Solid understanding of RF principles, including circuit design, schematics, layouts, and test result analysis

Familiarity with RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.)

Prior experience in a customer-facing engineering role is essential

Strong ability to work alongside Sales & Marketing teams to develop business opportunities

Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex hardware and software systems

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Willingness to travel as needed for customer support and technical engagements
