Your new role

Key project management responsibilities :

  • Support the team to execute effectively across the projects in complex multi-country projects
  • Support agile or other project planning techniques, facilitating the use of Scrum to maintain highly productive Sprints as well as project planning templates
  • Proactively support prioritisation, identify and help to resolve issues that can block progress of the projects and ensure the smooth running of the centre
  • Identify and drive implementation of continuous improvements in the way the project team works
  • Identify and report risks
  • Support the governance reporting requirements of projects

Key administrative responsibilities :

  • Ensure the policies and procedures of operation are understood by the centre members and adhered to. Highlight any risks as appropriate
  • Support the procurement processes for external vendors, ensuring decisions are documented and in compliance with company policies
  • Support the financial management of the centre
  • Ensure that team members and partners have the tools, software and processes to work effectively, and that project-specific information is available and accessible to relevant team members and partners
  • Oversee the logistics for events, such as in-person workshops with partners

    • What you'll need to succeed

  • A track record of effective project management skills, agile ways of working or similar approaches.
  • Experience in a business manager role would be advantageous
  • Ideally, strong interest and experience with innovation and familiarity with banking operations and / or instant payments systems.
  • Experience working in projects with international partners and multistakeholders.
  • First-hand experience with Scrum would be an advantage, but Certified Scrum Master training can be arranged
  • A strong entrepreneurial spirit and mindset and is able to work in a startup like environment and be adaptive to the needs of the evolving tasks at hand.
  • Due to the urgency of the role, only candidates with shorter notice period will be considered
