Job description

Main Objective :

  • Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will provide support in the following areas
  • To maximize revenue potential
  • Central Point of contact between Customers, Sales / Business Development, Supply Chain & Ops Support team
  • To ensure offers and tenders activities complies to the procedures, increase the winning rate and optimise sales margin
  • Ensure tender and quotation are managed in accordance with the defined process, directives from company standards
  • Build on current work process and seek for areas of improvementTo achieve 100% customer satisfaction

Key Tasks :

  • Handle customers’ inquiry / tender for our products and services
  • Process quotation and sales order on day to day basis
  • Provide admin support to Sales and Technical Support Team to achieve sales
  • Lead and manage assigned tender for submission that meets customer requirement
  • Track and report on submitted quotation and tender status
  • Monitor and keep clients informed on the progress of order as required
  • Lead and conduct Contract Review of an order received from assigned accounts to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintenance and preparation of presentation material, product information
  • Assist in preparation of management reports on general activities and expected turnover and market trends
  • Key Responsibilities :

  • To manage customer feedback and maintain relationship with the customers
  • To act as a central point of contact for the customer on assigned orders / jobs and take a pro-active approach to customer liaison
  • To facilitate with various department in resolving customers’ complaints and operational issues to achieve customers’ satisfaction
  • In addition to these duties / responsibilities’ employee is required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required
  • Requirements :

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Good PC skills (essential)
  • 18 – 24 months’ related experience within the industry (desirable)
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines (essential)
  • Proactive, Analytical and Creative approach to problem solving (essential)
  • Ability to communicate effectively on all levels (essential)
  • Ability to work under owns initiative (essential)
  • Ability to think strategically (essential)
  • Good organizational and time management skills (essential)
  • Product Knowledge (desirable)
  • Quality Knowledge (desirable)
