Roles & Responsibilities
We are currently seeking an highly motivated individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager. This position plays a crucial role in market expansion and strategic partnership in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify business opportunities, strategic partners, and acquisition targets in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including local and regional partners, government bodies, industry players and regulatory agencies.
- Lead the development of feasibility studies, business cases and financial models for investment proposals.
- Act as a key communication bridge ensuring clear reporting lines, cultural alignment and effective collaboration across the organization, including but not limited to, regular progress reports and strategic recommendations.
- Monitor local and regional regulations relevant to new business develooment, and advise on the compliance matters.
- Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation plans related to investment or operational activities in the region.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements :
Degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, Logistics, Economics or related fieldMinimum 5 years working experience in a similar roleIndustry Knowledge is essentialStrong understanding of the shipping value chain and commercial practices in the regional maritime sectorProven ability to expand business through a regional presence in SingaporeExcellent stakeholder management and cross-cultural communicationStrategic thinking, strong commercial acumen and project execution capabilityIf you are looking for a challenging role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, we look forward to receive your job application!
