Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities for Accountant, Leading Investment Management Firm :
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations for accuracy, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS / GAAP).
- Manage the firm’s general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and balanced.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, investment portfolios, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and reports in accordance with local and international regulations.
- Collaborate with auditors during both internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit queries.
- Support the preparation of tax filings, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and effective management of tax-related matters.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis on financial performance, investments, and other related areas.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications for Accountant, Leading Investment Management Firm :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred).3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in investment management or financial services.Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS / GAAP) and financial regulations.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Tell employers what skills you have
