Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities for Accountant, Leading Investment Management Firm :

  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations for accuracy, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS / GAAP).
  • Manage the firm’s general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and balanced.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, investment portfolios, and intercompany accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and reports in accordance with local and international regulations.
  • Collaborate with auditors during both internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit queries.
  • Support the preparation of tax filings, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and effective management of tax-related matters.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis on financial performance, investments, and other related areas.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications for Accountant, Leading Investment Management Firm :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in investment management or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS / GAAP) and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
