Job Responsibilities
1. Responsible for real-time risk monitoring of all international business of the Singapore trading entity, covering LPG / LNG physical trades and derivatives transactions.
2. Independently identify, assess and report various types of risks, including market risk such as price volatility, risk management of open position, operational risks (trade terms, logistics, settlement, document compliance) and credit risks (counterparty qualification and dynamic tracking).
3. Act as an extension of the Group’s risk control framework in Singapore, working closely with the business-unit risk control teams in both major trading groups to ensure consistency of global and regional risk control strategies.
4. Review daily trading instructions and positions to ensure compliance with the Group’s risk management policies.
5. Participate in the design of trading proposals in the early stage, providing independent risk control opinions, escalating risk warnings across teams, ensure implementation of risk mitigation measures.
6. Maintain data accuracy in the CTRM system and assist in optimizing cross-border risk monitoring models.
7. Other tasks assigned by management.
Job Requirements
1. More than three years of in-depth management experience in international bulk oil and gas trade risks, familiar with the entire process of physical trade, derivatives trading, and hedging mechanisms.
2. Demonstrates strong proficiency in the quantitative management of execution and market risks. Such as logistic delays, documentation discrepancies, settlement disputes VaR modeling, stress testing, and explore calculation, along with foundational skills in credit risk assessment and analysis.
3. Business-level proficiency in English, including drafting internal policies, conducting verbal negotiations, and leading cross-border meetings.
4. Hands-on experience in front-line risk control, capable to quickly understanding deal logic and challenging unreasonable proposals to ensure alignment with risk policies.
5. Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in risk management, actuarial science, statistics etc., holding FRM / CFA certificates are preferred.
