This role is crucial for ensuring our customers receive outstanding support as we continue to expand our business.

Job Purpose :

The Junior Customer Service Representative at GME Chemicals Singapore will play a crucial role in strengthening customer relationships and ensuring efficient service delivery. This position requires an experienced individual who can effectively handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and support the sales team in achieving its goals, all while driving customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.
  • Oversee the processing of customer orders from initiation to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate closely with the sales teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Analyze customer feedback and work with management to enhance service quality and improve business workflows.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring they are met.
  • Review and process customer orders.
  • Liaise with customers to clarify order discrepancies and confirm order.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain Department for stock availability and delivery dates.
  • Communicate with customers on estimated delivery dates and acceptance by customers.
  • Initiate purchase or delivery arrangements as per documented procedures.

Qualifications :

  • Diploma-level education
  • Proven experience in Customer Service, with at least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices, preferably in the chemical or related industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage challenging customer situations with diplomacy and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in accounting system software, databases, and tools
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
