Main purpose of the role

We are seeking a mid-level lawyer for a 3-month assignment starting ASAP, focusing on Singapore cash management, trade / structured trade, and loans.

Key duties include

  • Managing cash management and liquidity products under client templates.
  • Handling core trade products, including issuance, discounting, and negotiations of bank guarantees, letters of credit, bills of exchange, etc.
  • Engaging in receivables purchase financing, supply chain financing, and factoring.
  • Participating in commodities trade finance and structured financing.
  • Managing trade asset distribution and risk participations.
  • Booking offshore trade-related loans and receivables purchase in Singapore.
  • Advising on and reviewing Singapore regulatory issues related to these areas.

Person specification

  • Qualified lawyer with relevant transactional banking experience at a reputable law firm.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
