Working with the senior leadership team of the organization, the roles and responsibilities (R&R) of a Head of Finance will be as follows :

• Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) : Responsible for strategic financial management, overseeing the development and execution of budgets and forecasts that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Financial Analysis : Analyzing historical data, market trends, and other factors to create accurate forecasts and budgets, aiding in informed decision-making and setting realistic financial targets.
• Performance Monitoring : Monitoring actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances, and taking corrective actions as needed.
• Communication and Reporting : Communicating financial information, forecasts, and performance to senior management, stakeholders, and relevant teams to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance : Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and maintaining compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting (Business Partnering with Commercial Team) : Developing, implementing, and monitoring budgets and forecasts in collaboration with Sales & BD Team and the Corporate Services Team, allocating resources effectively across departments and projects.
• Variance Analysis : Analyzing differences between actual results and budgets / forecasts, providing explanations and insights.
• Treasury Management : Managing cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operations, developing cash management strategies, and optimizing banking relationships and investments.
