Job Summary
A CFCR Advisory role for Transaction Banking (TB) focused on Cash. SCB has a strong global heritage as a leading cash management bank, and this is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned risk manager to support a growing business that is at the forefront of contributing to global economies. The role holder will join the Group CFCR Transaction Banking Advisory team as Director, CFCR Advisory, TB, Cash, supporting the Executive Director in managing all compliance, financial crime, and conduct risks relating to TB Cash business, especially the Clearing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Help the Group meet its commitment of being "Here for Good" by building a sustainable framework emphasizing Compliance, Conduct, and FCR best practices.
- Execute relevant aspects of the Compliance, Conduct, and FCR Principal Risk Type Frameworks (PRTFs) through robust independent risk control and advice.
- Assess the effectiveness of the Group's Compliance, Financial Crime, and Conduct Risk commitments.
- Support and challenge the Group's businesses to exhibit appropriate conduct and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain independence, deliver timely responses, and escalate risks when management tolerances are exceeded.
- Build constructive stakeholder relationships and support all key stakeholders.
- Manage regulatory relationships with all relevant regulators.
