Job description

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Courteously greets and escorts guests and assists in seating.
  • Assists in preparing the restaurant for service.
  • Responsible for reservation arrangements and proposes menu recommendation for all guests.
  • Answers incoming telephone calls and either transfers, redirects or takes a message.
  • Handles general enquiries posed by guests.
  • Manages day-to-day reservations and table arrangements
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with all internal customers and guests in order to anticipate their needs.
  • Maintains a high level of product and service knowledge in order to explain and sell services and facilities to guests.
  • Assists guests and answer to their enquiries request.
  • Manage VIP and regular guest preferences.
  • Optimize table seating and guest flow.
  • Gather guest feedback and encourage repeat visits.
  • Handle reservations and customer concerns professionally.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good team player
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with customers
  • Minimum 1 year relevant experience, preferably in restaurant service
