As part of their strategic growth and transformation, they are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Operations to lead and optimize the bank’s end-to-end operational functions. The Head of Operations is responsible for overseeing all banking operations including transaction processing, customer operations, back-office support, service delivery, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities :
Lead and manage daily operations across retail, corporate, and digital banking channels.Ensure timely and accurate execution of all banking transactions and operational processes.Oversee operational teams including payments, settlements, trade finance, account services, and contact center (if applicable).Design and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.Drive process reengineering and automation to support digital banking initiatives.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure high performance.Ensure operations are fully compliant with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices.Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing controls and audit readiness procedures.Liaise with Compliance, Risk, and Audit teams to ensure a robust control environment.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.Collaborate cross-functionally with technology, business units, compliance, and finance teams.Act as a key point of contact for senior management and external stakeholders on operational matters.Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).Minimum 10 years of experience in banking operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Strong understanding of banking systems, payment infrastructures, operational risk, and regulatory requirements.Proven track record of leading large teams and implementing operational transformation initiatives.Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.Experience with core banking systems, automation tools, and digital banking platforms is a strong advantage.EA Licence No : 23S1615
