At IMH, we do not just treat mental illnesses. We believe recovery is possible, especially with early treatment and continued support. At the same time, we want to prevent mental illness and build mental health resilience.
To do these, we have to address the issue of stigma, normalise mental health conversations, and improve mental health literacy. Media publicity, stakeholder communication and public outreach are the main vehicles we ride on to achieve these objectives.
We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to be part of our Corporate Communications team.
What you will be doing
- You will be involved in planning and implementing corporate communications programmes, including media publicity, branding, public education and outreach, and internal communication.
- You will contribute to media engagement, cultivate stakeholder relationships, develop messaging and narratives, identify media opportunities, pitch stories and work with the media to achieve positive or balanced reporting.
- You will work with various departments to run events and outreach initiatives, including corporate and school visits.
- In times of crises or incident, you will be required to work with internal stakeholders to execute the IMH crisis communication plan.

A good degree in Communications or related disciplineExcellent English Language writing skills6 – 10 years of relevant work experienceExperience in journalism or a public relations agency will be a plus.Personal qualities
