Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

  • The Associate Director, F&B will build an engaging brand persona and culture for consolidated F&B at Marina Bay Sands through our offerings and bring compelling F&B programming to the forefront of why people should visit the integrated resort.
  • He / she loves the F&B industry, is naturally curious about it, loves to eat and entertain, is fun loving and hard working.
  • He / she will be responsible for building marketing expertise, effective offline and online channels, and partnerships to showcase lifestyle possibilities and aspirations through the lens of MBS’s F&B and Nightlife offerings.
  • He / she will develop, support, and execute resort wide F&B programming and activations, building tight relationships and work alongside resort stakeholders, key partners, and tenants to create win-win objectives and exceed brand ambitions.
  • Oversee and orchestrate campaign planning, budget, and content.
  • Own and design MBS’s F&B engagement program, infrastructure, and drive go-to-market channels and platforms.
  • He / she will support the optimization of F&B performance and profitability.
  • Build capability in team and drive best in class restaurants, bars, new product, and lifestyle activation.

  • He / she is expected to develop and deploy marketing tactics and best practices, creating actionable insights based on the drivers of markets & consumers.
  • Marketing initiatives must be grounded on the continuous improvement of demand market intelligence and effective customer communication.
  • He / she is the voice of the customer and consumers for the F&B segment and creates connectivity across the organization.
  • MARKET INSIGHTS

  • Follow and analyze the food & beverage market, as well as factors driving consumer trends and the influence on food developers, creating a forward-looking view on the impact on our ingredients business.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, using insights and working closely together with F&B Operations, key partners and respective functions including Strategy and Planning, Brands, etc.
  • Drive the creation of storylines to promote our products & offerings.
  • Drive on-trend Solutions

  • Drive the understanding of different customer needs and convert insights into on-trend solutions, new product concepts & sales tools by working closely with the commercial and technical teams.
  • Creation of marketing materials & tools; trend presentations, market insights presentations and product launch presentations.
  • Commercialization of projects; responsible for concept / product launches from the designated launch program including all activities from pre- to post launch. This includes :
  • Developing value propositions & key messaging
  • Identify market potential, supporting all key stakeholders
  • Preparation and presentation of internal & external promotion material
  • Ensure follow-up & measurement of success and suggest / implement proper actions based on the outcome
  • Job Requirements

    Education & Certification

  • Bachelors in Business / Marketing / Communications
  • Experience

  • At least 8 years in F&B Marketing. Prior experience in the hospitality, entertainment, travel or luxury lifestyle sector is highly desirable, but not essential for candidates who demonstrate exceptional strategic acumen and a passion for our brand vision.
  • Other Prerequisites

  • Proven track record operating full funnel marketing strategies with savvy background in e-commerce.
  • Deep understanding of traditional and innovative marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills combined with the confidence that comes with functional experience.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, with a track record of inspiring and empowering teams to achieve ambitious goals and deliver exceptional results.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and drive business impact.
  • Passion for innovation and a relentless pursuit of excellence, coupled with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering world-class experiences.
  • Be curious and creative, capable of logical thinking and strategic planning.
  • Be meticulous, able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and in an organized way.
  • Be able to handle ambiguity, high workload, and extreme amount of detail.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude, and the ability to deal effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
