Role
We are seeking an experienced Application Support Consultant to manage and optimize our payment reconciliation systems, core banking platform applications, CRM Applications , SaaS and cloud-based applications support in banking domain experience.
The ideal candidate will bring expertise in payment systems, reconciliation processes, cloud solutions, Boomi platform integration apps, ITSM best practices, and strong application support for banking and financial services.
This role is ideal for professionals passionate about driving operational excellence in modern, cloud-first banking environments.
Core Responsibilities
- Good understanding of financial domain knowledge with a strong technical proficiency, shows interest in learning and adapting with new technologies.
- Provide robust L2 / L3 application support for SaaS based applications, payment systems , CRM applications and reconciliation application solutions.
- Strong focus on incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement with proper ITSM best practices.
- Oversee and execute end-to-end payment reconciliation processes across multiple payment platforms, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Integrate and maintain cloud-based reconciliation platforms, Boomi integration platform support applications for seamless data file mapping transformation with business data flows.
- Monitor application health using industry-standard monitoring tools, proactively identifying, and resolving issues to maintain high system availability and toil reduction on manual touch points.
- Good knowledge of job scheduling and automation solution for payment processes applications.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and finance teams to enhance operational processes, controls, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with ITSM best practices, utilizing ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) for incident, problem, and change management.
- Support audits and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate documentation and process transparency.
Requirements
6-8 years of application support experience in the core banking or fintech domain, with a focus on payments, reconciliation, SaaS, Cloud solutions.Hands-on experience with payment systems, reconciliation automation, and cloud integration platforms (preferably Boomi).Proficiency in monitoring and job scheduling tools.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Familiarity with ITSM frameworks and compliance requirements.Experience supporting mission-critical systems in a fast-paced, regulated environment.Regulatory knowledge is an additional advantage in this job scope.Experience with automation / toil reduction and scripting.Working knowledge of DevOps tools and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).Understanding of banking operations, finance, and risk processes.Tell employers what skills you have
