About the team

Monetization Integrity is a global team responsible for ensuring that all monetized creativity on TikTok is safe, ethical and high quality. The team aims to deliver innovative solutions to improve the advertiser experience and manage risks on TikTok. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent project management skills who is ready to learn and capable of coordinating multiple stakeholders and different functions across cultures and time zones to join our team. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early. Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 4 months long internship period. Responsibilities : 1. Become the functional owner of the policy strategy and rissk mitigation of organic commercial products on the platform. 2. Develop global and scalable policies, principles and processes to regulate commercial products on the platform while incorporating local nuances for commercial products 3. Collaborate with global operations teams and other internal stakeholders to improve and maintain feedback loops from front end policy enforcement activities to policy design. 4. Partner with cross-functional teams including other Policyleaders, Product, Sales, Risk Control, Government Affairs, Legal and Communication teams to develop strategic policy vision for commercial products that mitigates risks effectively. 5. Work in collaboration with the rest of the team to support them and educate them on the different nuances of the product you own.

Minimum Qualifications 1. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or a Graduate / Masster's / PHD program in Public Policy, International Affairs, or MBA. 2. Experience in online advertising and organic content regulations, policies, risk prevention & identification, and management. 3. You have extremely clear oral and written communication with the ability to translate complex challenges into simple and clear language and persuade stakeholders at multiple levels. 4. You have excellent analytical reasoning, problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional skills. 5. You can work well in a collaborative team-environment Preferred Qualifications 1. Experience developing and executing policy strategy 2. Previous experience working with international partners across multiple markets and timezones
