Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field. At least 6 years of relevant experience in SOC environments. Professional security certifications such as GCIA, CISSP, and CISM are advantageous.
What we seek to accomplish together :
- Serve as team lead, driving goals and performance for the SOC team (Level 1 and Level 2 SOC analysts, etc.), managing time off requests and other HR-related requests.
- Lead the overall day-to-day operations of the SOC, ensuring events and incidents are detected and responded to in accordance with established processes and procedures.
- Provide an overview of SOC challenges, risks, and opportunities to the leadership team. Manage and escalate roadblocks that may jeopardize security monitoring operations, infrastructure, and SLAs.
- Build, administer, and fine-tune processes to ensure compliance.
- Drive client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
- Perform and explain analysis of data effectively.
- Provide threat and vulnerability analysis, security advisory services.
- Develop attack detection and response playbooks, define countermeasures, and strategize to mitigate emerging threats.
- Model attacks and threats to improve detection and mitigation strategies.
