Job description
What we seek to accomplish together :
Serve as team lead, driving goals and performance for the SOC team (Level 1 and Level 2 SOC analysts, etc.), managing time off requests and other HR-related requests.
Lead the overall day-to-day operations of the SOC, ensuring events and incidents are detected and responded to in accordance with established processes and procedures.
Provide an overview of SOC challenges, risks, and opportunities to the leadership team. Manage and escalate roadblocks that may jeopardize security monitoring operations, infrastructure, and SLAs.
Build, administer, and fine-tune processes to ensure compliance.
Drive client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
Perform and explain analysis of data effectively.
Provide threat and vulnerability analysis, security advisory services.
Develop attack detection and response playbooks, define countermeasures, and strategize to mitigate emerging threats.
Model attacks and threats to improve detection and mitigation strategies.
A little bit about you :
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
At least 6 years of relevant experience in SOC environments.
Professional security certifications such as GCIA, CISSP, and CISM are advantageous.
