Job Description

You will be collaborating with partners in Trading in Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo, as well as Syndicate and Research teams, to provide comprehensive client coverage. The ideal candidate is client-oriented, intellectually curious, and thrives under pressure. This role is based in the GIS Rates Sales team, focusing on client coverage and execution of interest rate products primarily in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand, serving global hedge funds and asset managers.

Responsibilities

  • Transact across markets with a diverse client base, including hedge funds and asset managers.
  • Execute trade operations such as booking, new issue orders, and sales coverage.
  • Assist clients with market updates, order execution, and market intelligence.
  • Identify market drivers and develop a cross-product skill set with a keen interest in learning about other products.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong understanding of derivatives, supported by a solid mathematical background.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a markets role with a good grasp of macroeconomics.
  • Deep knowledge of market products.
  • Team-oriented, detail-focused, and disciplined in process and quality control.
  • Effective communication skills for internal and client interactions.
  • Proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Experience with volatility products is advantageous.
  • Highly organized with the ability to perform under pressure and manage priorities efficiently.
  • Logical thinker with strong qualitative skills.
  • Quick learner with the ability to multi-task and self-manage.
