Position Overview

We are seeking a technically strong and detail-oriented MEP Manager / Technical Services Manager to oversee all mechanical, electrical and plumbing aspects across our commercial fit-out projects. This roll combined site and project coordination responsibilities with hands-on design and tender-phase technical support.

The ideal candidate will possess strong in-house MEP technical knowledge, be comfortable working with AutoCAD and CSD (combined services drawings) preparation and provide practical pricing insights to support our team during bids.

Job Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Delivery

  • Lead coordination, execution and quality control of MEP services across multiple fit-out projects.
  • Prepare or review combined services drawings (CSD's) to ensure spatial coordination of all trades.
  • Review design intent and ensure technical compliance with regulatory, client and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with consultants, suppliers and subcontractors on all MEP-related submissions, including shop drawings and authority clearances.
  • Attend and lead site coordination meetings for MEP works
  • Monitor site progress, resolve issues in real-time and oversee testing & commissioning.
  • Ensure MEP handover documentation is complete, including as-builts, O&M manuals and inspection reports.

Tendering & Technical Support

  • Review MEP quotations received by the quantity surveying team for completeness, accuracy and pricing reasonableness.
  • Identify potential scope gaps, low-ball or inflated pricing, and provide recommendations for tender adjustments.
  • Offer technical alternatives or value engineering proposals during the bidding stage.
  • Provide indicative MEP estimates and support tender queries related to MEP scope.

    • Requirements

  • Qualifications :

    • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.

  • Experience :

    • At least 3 years of experience in MEP coordination, especially in interior fit-out projects.

  • Strong working knowledge of ACMV, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection and electrical systems.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and able to produce or amend combined services drawings.
  • Familiarity with local codes and authority submission processes (BCA, SCDF, PUB, EMA)
  • Experience reviewing and comparing subcontractor pricing and scopes.
  • Skills :

    • Strong working knowledge of ACMV, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection and electrical systems.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and able to produce or amend combined services drawings.
  • Familiarity with local codes and authority submission processes (BCA, SCDF, PUB, EMA)
  • Experience reviewing and comparing subcontractor pricing and scopes.
