Job descriptionEmployee shall have at least a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology or an equivalent engineering discipline. While prior experience isn't mandatory, familiarity with the industry would be an advantage. CAD software (., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) Microsoft Office (., Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint) Employee should have some understanding of the manufacturing process. Basic understanding of computer programming is a plus but not required Employee should have excellent communication skills to interact with manufacturing, internal / external customers and management. Employee should be willing to travel on short trips to support internal / external customers domestic and international. Employee should have some understanding of the manufacturing process. Responsibilities
- Develop, revise, distribute, and audit global engineering specifications across all manufacturing sites.
- Prepare and deliver complete engineering packages, including drawings and documentation for production.
- Support manufacturing by defining product acceptance criteria, approving Work Orders, and resolving Discrepancy Reports.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of engineering software tools for internal and external use.
- Provide technical support to internal teams such as Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, and R&D, as well as to external customers, in alignment with NOV Grant Prideco’s goals.
