Roles & Responsibilities

The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024 to harness technology and foster innovation for more efficient, resilient, and inclusive financial ecosystems through global partnerships. GFTN organises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, provides access to transformative digital platforms, and invest in technology startups with the potential for growth and positive social impact through its venture fund.

Key Responsibilities :

Role : Lead the global sales function for GFTN. Responsible for developing the sales proposition across business verticals and regions, managing a high performance team, driving ecosystem engagement, and amplifying GFTN’s global visibility.

A key focus is to build out the stature of global forums, recently added advisory services and platforms into an integrated offering aligned with GFTN’s strategic priorities.

  • Develop sales propositions and identify engagement opportunities for the Singapore FinTech Festival and other GFTN Forums.
  • Extend GFTN’s offering to our new Advisory practice, which includes embedding partner platforms and solutions.
  • Develop strong relationships with local, regional and global customers and partners across private and public sector to develop new business and grow existing customer relationship value.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, gathering insights to inform product development and improvements.
  • Work closely with Strategy, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to align customer goals with business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing Customer Success team, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer experience.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the team for management reporting. Design the right incentive structures to drive strong performance.
  • Establish GFTN as a thought leader and trusted advisor, backed by primary data sources and research and analysis on key topics of interest in Financial Services and Technology.
  • Foster relationships with the industry to ensure GFTN is seen as the pioneering platform for announcements of product launches, new partnerships and other new initiatives.

Requirements :

  • Seasoned executive with 10+ years leading consulting or sales organizations in Financial Services or Tech
  • Strong track record of building relationships with senior leaders in private and / or public sector.
  • Connected to the global Fintech ecosystem with an awareness and understanding of trends and developments in the space.
