Your role
As the Medical & Professional Affairs Manager for SEAK, you will partner closely with Marketing and Commercial teams to expand access to our eye-care portfolio through professional education, scientific engagement, event execution, and digital initiatives. A key focus of your role will be to build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), key opinion leaders (KOLs), and independent medical experts (IMEs). You will also facilitate participation in major industry conferences to reinforce EssilorLuxottica’s position as a thought leader in the field. In addition, you will support the strategic development of key categories - such as myopia control and progressive lenses - by leveraging scientific and clinical content to strengthen healthcare professionals' (HCPs') product recommendations.
Main Responsibilities :
Build and maintain strong partnerships with ophthalmologists, optometrists, academic institutions, and professional societies.
Plan, develop, and present scientific content for congress booths, symposia, advisory boards, and webinars
Coordinate pre-launch and post-launch medical activities, aligning with Commercial to drive demand and measure brand performance.
Provide medical insight for product-commercialization strategies and resource allocation.
Deliver on-site clinical education, troubleshooting, and consultative support to customers and sales teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Optometry, Ophthalmic Science, Life Sciences, or related field (required).
Minimum 5 years in medical affairs, KOL management, or professional education within med-tech, pharma, or medical-device sectors.
