About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Vice President of Business Development to lead our Benefit Solutions division in Singapore & APAC. This pivotal role is responsible for driving strategic growth, developing strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the Benefit Solutions division.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities , ensuring alignment with SRG's strategic objectives.
  • Initiate and manage the entire sales cycle , from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring sustainable revenue growth.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, referral partners, and industry leaders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver tailored insurance solutions that meet client needs.
  • Drive marketing initiatives and campaigns to enhance brand visibility and attract new clients.
  • Lead market research and trend analysis to inform business strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Represent SRG Asia Pacific at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to foster partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field .
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in business development, preferably within the insurance or employee benefits sector.
  • A proven track record of driving revenue growth and forging strategic partnerships .
  • Prior experience in employee benefits within a broking environment is highly advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities , with a "hunter" mindset for securing new business.
  • Deep technical knowledge of employee benefits solutions, structures, and risk management .
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills .
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
