Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Application Deputy Manager to join our team at the Singapore Tuas site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our IT applications. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The IT Application Deputy Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure that our IT applications meet the needs of the business and support our overall goals.
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations and performance of business-critical applications (e.g., MES, LIMS, QMS, CMMS, ERP).
- Lead application upgrades, patches, validation activities, and system changes following change control procedures.
- Ensure applications are validated and maintained in accordance with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity standards.
- Own and maintain application documentation including URS, FRS, configuration specifications, validation protocols (IQ / OQ / PQ), and SOPs.
- Support regulatory and internal audits by providing documentation and system information.
- Ensure adherence to CSV (Computer System Validation) and ALCOA+ principles.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between IT and business process owners in Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain departments.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and IT solutions.
- Collaborate with corporate IT and global application teams on integration and standardization initiatives.
- Monitor application incidents, manage resolution, and perform root cause analysis.
- Manage change requests and coordinate with validation, QA, and business teams for impact assessment and approval.
- Manage service contracts, SLAs, and relationships with software vendors and system integrators.
- Plan and lead application-related projects including implementations, migrations, and system optimizations.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Candidates are expected to have the following qualifications, skills, and experience.
