Core Responsibilities :

Sustain and strengthen the Quality Management System.
Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) complies with AS 9100, NADCAP, and the various regulatory authorities’ requirements (CAAS, FAA, EASA, CAAC and etc).
Ensure site comply with Safety Management System (SMS) per regulatory requirements.
Ensure Quality systems consistently meet / exceed customers’ requirements.
Improve and sustain site Quality performance (escape, COPQ, Right First Time).
Ensure timely and robust responses to audit findings, both internal and external.
Organize and ensure Internal Audits are carried out satisfactorily as planned.
Collect and analyze statistical data to monitor the quality of in-process work and finished products.
Lead robust Root Cause Investigation and drive effective preventive action implementation.
Plan, promote and organize training programs to ensure site meets regulatory requirements and enhance site quality standards.
Actively participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives to drive towards Zero Defect Quality culture.
Works closely with Human Resources regarding talent development and to promote positive and harmonious management-employee relations.
Mentor, coach subordinates to achieve higher standard of performance and personal growth.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Quality Engineers and Lab technicians.

Qualifications :

Minimum 8 years of working experience in an Aerospace environment, preferably in overhaul and repair of turbine engine parts with 3 years leading a Quality team.

Pass the CAAS Air Legislation examination paper (M10, L11, L12 or CO1).

Proficient in Quality tools & techniques.

Demonstrated leadership effectiveness and culturally savvy in a fast-paced environment. Must be an effective change leader who challenges the status quo and acts with a sense of urgency to drive results.

Strong analytical skillset, systemic approach in problem-solving.

Impeccable integrity with strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate and engage a multicultural workforce at all levels of the organization.

Six Sigma Green Belt certified, possess Lean manufacturing & continuous improvement knowledge.

Strong time management with the ability to work under pressure.

Education Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
