Responsibilities
Assess the creditworthiness of applicants for SME working capital loans and personal loans.Perform in-depth financial analysis and evaluate repayment capacity to ensure loan approvals align with the institution's risk appetite.Develop, implement, and uphold credit policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and company objectives.Continuously review and update credit risk frameworks to adapt to evolving market conditions.Monitor and analyse the loan portfolio to detect potential risk concentrations and maintain adequate risk diversification.Ensure credit risk management practices comply with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) guidelines and other relevant regulations.Establish strong mechanisms to identify and mitigate fraudulent activities in SME and personal loan applications.Collaborate with sales, operations, and legal teams to align credit risk strategies with business goals.Provide training and guidance to relationship managers and credit analysts on best practices in credit risk management.Prepare and present regular credit risk reports to senior management, highlighting key trends, exceptions, and recommendations.Leverage data analytics tools to enhance decision-making and improve credit scoring models.Requirements
Min. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM.At least 7-10 years of experience in credit risk management, preferably in SME lending or personal loan sectors.Demonstrated success in developing and implementing credit risk strategies and frameworks.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and evaluate creditworthiness.In-depth knowledge of MAS regulations and credit risk guidelines in Singapore.Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and lead a team.Adaptability to changing market conditions and regulatory requirements.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.Fluent in Mandarin andEnglishto liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates.For consideration, kindly submit your CV by clicking "APPLY NOW" or email to mtc095@mtcconsulting.com.sg
