The Senior Director, HRBP – South East Asia & Singapore is a key member of the APAC HR leadership team and a strategic advisor to business leaders across the region. This role partners closely with senior executives to align human capital strategies with business goals, ensuring effective talent planning, organizational development, and cultural transformation across diverse SEA markets including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic HR Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders on all HR matters.
  • Drive people strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on organizational effectiveness, culture, and capability building.
  • Influence and support executive-level decision-making with data-driven insights.

Regional HR Leadership

  • Lead the HRBP function across SEA, ensuring consistency and adaptability in people programs across varying local contexts.
  • Partner with Country HR teams to deliver regional and global HR initiatives.
  • Act as the HR lead for the Singapore office, aligning with local business and regulatory needs.
  • Talent & Organizational Development

  • Lead workforce planning, succession management, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Identify and grow critical talent pipelines; promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Champion employee engagement and change management programs.
  • Operational Excellence

  • Collaborate with COEs (Talent Acquisition, Learning, Rewards, etc.) to implement effective HR solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across SEA countries.
  • Track HR metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
  • Qualifications :

  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HRBP role covering multiple SEA markets.
  • Proven track record of partnering with senior leadership in a matrixed, multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR practices in SEA.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High cultural fluency and experience managing cross-border HR issues.
  • Skills :

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages relevant to the region are a plus.
