JOB OVERVIEW
The Head of Professional Services – Singapore is responsible for the end-to-end management of professional services engagements, from presales through successful delivery. This includes qualifying opportunities, shaping solutions, securing wins, and overseeing execution, with strong leadership across customer engagement, technical solutioning, project delivery, and team development. The role is focused on driving billable services aligned with AI & Analytics, Migration & Modernization, and Security in the Singapore market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Presales and Opportunity Management
- Collaborate with sales and solution architects to qualify leads and shape customer opportunities.
- Lead or guide the development of proposals, including scoping, effort estimation, commercial modeling, and resource planning.
- Contribute to account strategies and lead customer engagements to articulate and position the value of professional services.
Service Delivery Leadership
Oversee the execution of cloud, AI & Analytics, Migration & Modernization, and Security projects.Ensure delivery excellence by meeting quality, timeline, and budget expectations.Act as executive sponsor for key engagements and provide governance support when needed.Team Development & Operational Excellence
Lead and mentor the Singapore technical team across all presales and delivery roles, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and high performance.Monitor key delivery metrics, including utilization, delivery quality, customer satisfaction, and margin.Define and implement pre-sales and delivery standards, tools, and best practices in alignment with CTO office guidelines.Business Growth and Strategy
Drive growth in the billable professional services business by supporting revenue targets.Align service strategy with Singapore market demand and regional business objectives.Identify opportunities for service innovation and collaborate with the CTO office to develop new offerings.QUALIFICATIONS
At least 8 years of experience in professional services, consulting, or systems integration, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.Strong background in delivering cloud-based engagements, with specialization in at least one of the following domains : Analytics and AI, Migration and Modernization, or Security.Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with modern delivery methodologies.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Strong commercial acumen and familiarity with the Singapore enterprise market.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Security or Data Analytics Specialist) are a plus.WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?
