Job Description Summary :

We seek a highly experienced Senior Backend Engineer with 10+ years in backend systems architecture, distributed computing, and AI integration. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in backend engineering and machine learning, with a focus on building scalable, secure, and intelligent systems. This role involves technical leadership, system design, and AI integration to deliver high-performance backend services for modern, intelligent applications.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, build, and optimize scalable and resilient backend systems using modern cloud-native technologies.
  • Collaborate with ML engineers to integrate AI models into backend services for adaptive experiences.
  • Develop robust RESTful and GraphQL APIs and microservices supporting web and mobile platforms.
  • Ensure system availability, security, and performance through monitoring and optimization.
  • Build data pipelines, support ML workflows, and deploy models in production.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure data privacy and compliance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business goals.
  • Mentor junior engineers, lead code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, advocate for technological innovation.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 10+ years in backend engineering for large-scale systems.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, Python, Java, or Go, with strong system design skills.
  • Experience deploying on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Hands-on AI / ML model integration experience.
  • Deep understanding of API design, microservices, event-driven architectures.
  • Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, message queues, distributed data systems.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry.
  • Understanding of security, data privacy, GDPR compliance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in agile environments.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with ML Ops tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Vertex AI.
  • Background in deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch.
  • Exposure to vector databases, LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
  • Experience in building recommendation systems, chatbots, predictive services.
  • Knowledge of observability, circuit breaking, self-healing systems.
  • Understanding of data governance, feature stores, stream processing.
