SENIOR BACKEND ENGINEER

Department Overview :

The Digital Technology Department in OSIM works together as a team to ensure that the final product is programmed to meet the needs and wants of the consumer, whilst, incorporating the latest and most desirable technology to remain competitive in the market. This department comprises of the Product Owners, UI / UX, Mobile Application, IOT as well as the Digital QA group. Job Responsibilities :

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using C#, .NET Core in microservices / serverless architectures.
• Lead API development—design and implement RESTful APIs / GraphQL with clear documentation and versioning strategies.
• Architect data-intensive systems—ensure data quality, security, and performance in cloud-native environments.
• Optimize systems end-to-end—apply data structures, algorithms, and design patterns to solve complex scalability challenges.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, architectural discussions, and best practices (e.g., lean code, SOLID).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Owners, Mobile Engineers, UIUX, and QA to deliver high-impact features.
• Secure systems—implement authentication / authorization (OAuth, JWT) and enforce security best practices.
• Own cloud infrastructure—deploy and manage services on AWS using serverless frameworks, containers (Docker / ECS), and IaC (Terraform).
