3 months Job Description Sourcing and Negotiation : Identifying potential buyers and sellers, negotiating deals for second-hand sales, newbuild projects, and demolition opportunities Market Expertise : Providing clients with expert market intelligence, analysis, and strategic advice based on in-depth knowledge of the shipping market Relationship Management : Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, including shipowners, operators, and shipyards, and fostering new business development Deal Execution : Managing the entire transaction lifecycle, from initial inquiry to contract drafting, execution, and vessel delivery Documentation and Reporting : Preparing and maintaining accurate records of market activity, vessel positions, and financial information Communication : Effectively communicating with all parties involved, including clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders Industry Knowledge : Keeping up-to-date with industry events, news, and market trends to provide clients with informed insights Negotiation Skills : Utilizing strong negotiation skills to secure the best possible terms and prices for clients Financial Acumen : Understanding financial aspects of ship transactions, including financing options and valuations
