Job Description
- Own the end-to-end delivery of the product-from early design and prototyping through certification, assembly, and customer delivery.
- Drive alignment across engineering, operations, supply chain, and commercial teams using a unified master schedule.
- Manage risks, resources, and timelines with precision and agility.
- Serve as the go-to person for internal stakeholders and external partners, including government bodies, clients, and suppliers.
- Design and execute a robust supply chain strategy for critical components.
- Lead supplier negotiations, ensure vendor accountability, and drive cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Work with engineering to optimize design-for-manufacturing decisions.
- Set up and scale the main WIG craft assembly site-defining layout, workflows, and partner integration.
- Manage technical and operational collaboration with domestic and international manufacturers.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Support go-to-market efforts by engaging with early customers and strategic partners.
- Lead business development conversations, contribute to deal structuring, and represent the product at key industry events.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Engineering, Maritime, Mechanical, or equivalent; PMP certification is a plus.
- 8-12 years of experience in the marine, shipbuilding, or offshore engineering industries.
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder programmes from design through delivery.
- Strong grasp of supply chain, manufacturing operations, and vendor management.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
