QA (Quality Assurance / Quality Control) Engineer Duties and Responsibilities
Main duties and responsibilities of a QA / QC Engineer.
1. Accountable for the quality of the activities associated with the project engineering and construction.
2. Responsible for QA / QC documents of the complete project, including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction / observations, permanent materials delivered, and other important QA / QC documents.
3. Develop and determine all standards to perform inspections and tests on all procedures, oversee all testing methods, and maintain high-quality standards for all processes.
4. Review the quality of all materials at the site, ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality, and collaborate with the department for all material procurement and quality materials.
5. Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules, ensure adherence to all procedures, and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.
6. Manage all work methods, maintain knowledge of quality assurance standards, monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes, and recommend corrective actions for all operations.
7. Develop a method statement for the activity, including risk assessment, Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on project specifications.
Relevant Qualifications :
1. Degree in Engineering preferred. Related disciplines may be considered
2. Minimum 2 to 3 years working experience in quality assurance / quality control role in oil and gas applications.
3. Working knowledge of welding procedures and NDT techniques will be an added advantage
4. Good blend of technical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
