Recruiting across APAC's Finance and Investment Sectors

A prestigious asset management firm backed by a global investment group is looking for a Distribution Sales Director for their APAC fundraising efforts . The firm offers a diverse and expanding platform across public and private strategies and is in a significant phase of global growth.

This is a foundational hire , reporting directly to the CEO . The successful candidate will take ownership of building out the firm’s distribution and intermediary sales strategy across APAC.

Key Responsibilities

Lead fundraising efforts across APAC via private banks, wealth platforms, insurance distributors, and other wholesale channels.
Drive product onboarding and shelf space with leading regional private banks.
Build a pipeline of accredited investors and wealth intermediaries across the APAC region.
Develop and manage long-term relationships with product gatekeepers and distribution partners.
Represent the firm in client meetings and product pitches.
Collaborate with internal product and compliance teams to support fund marketing and due diligence process

Desired Qualifications

Min. 7 years of experience in fund distribution, intermediary sales, or wholesale sales within a global asset manager.

Proven track record of onboarding funds onto private banking platforms and driving fundraising success.

Strong network across APAC private banks and distributors (Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, etc.)

Excellent communication skills; commercial, and relationship-driven.

Self-starter with a “hunter” mindset – comfortable with cold outreach and business development.

Familiarity with mutual funds and / or alternative investment strategies.
