About the role

As a Commis Cook 1 / 2 / 3 at Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, assisting the Head Chef and other senior cooks in preparing high-quality meals for our guests. This is a full-time position based in the Central Region, offering the opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

a) Role and Responsibilities :

• Assist in all food preparation processes.
• Cook and prepare raw and cooked materials.
• Prepare vegetables, meats, seafood, and vegetarian food items.
• Support deliveries and restocking of kitchen supplies.
• Assist with stock rotation and maintain cleanliness of workstations.
• Follow and uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
• Inform the chef of any excess food items or products for daily production use.
• Maintain accurate food logs.
• Assist colleagues with chopping, cutting, packing, and learning dishes from other chefs.
• Work according to food menu specifications provided by senior chefs.
