Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate daily operations for managed funds, including subscriptions, redemptions and distributions.
  • Liaise with fund administrators, custodians, transfer agents, and counterparties to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Review and monitor fund NAVs, ensuring timely reconciliation and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Work with support areas to provide a high level of service to clients and fund managers.
  • Assisting in conducting ad-hoc research, and preparing material for investment reports, as required.

Regulatory Compliance & MAS Reporting

  • Ensure operational procedures are compliant with MAS regulations under the SFA and applicable notices / circulars (e.g., SFA 04-N13, AML / CFT requirements).
  • Maintain robust audit trails and documentation to support internal and MAS audits or inspections.
  • Maintain and update SOPs and process documentation as required under MAS governance.
  • Client & Investor Support

  • Support onboarding of investors, ensuring KYC / AML documentation complies with MAS guidelines.
  • Coordinate investor communications, performance reports, and notices.
  • Ensure proper data confidentiality and investor servicing standards.
  • Fee Management & Accounting Support

  • Coordinate calculation and validation of management fees, performance fees, and fund expenses.
  • Support fund accounting and audit processes in collaboration with external service providers.
  • Review monthly fund financial statements prepared by administrators.
  • Key Requirements :

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fund operations, middle office, or fund administration.
  • Experience in MAS-regulated knowledge and local compliance expectations.
  • Familiar with MAS Notices (AML / CFT), Business Continuity Plans, and reporting standards.
  • Strong understanding of fund structures (open-ended, closed-ended, VCC)
  • Meticulous, independent, and adaptable with strong problem-solving skills.
