Job descriptionA recognized degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA Australia, SCTP, or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in corporate tax, preferably with a large or mid-tier international accounting firm. Experience with tax assignments in the shipping industry is an added advantage. Strong technical knowledge of Singapore corporate tax laws and regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage a small team of tax professionals across a portfolio of corporate tax clients.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and review of tax engagements to ensure quality and compliance.
- Deliver comprehensive tax advisory and compliance services, including on complex matters such as restructuring and cross-border transactions.
- Act as the engagement lead, responsible for project planning, budgeting, and delivery.
- Collaborate closely with directors on engagement strategy, technical issues, and client management.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Conduct internal and external seminars or training sessions on corporate tax topics.
