Sustainability Auditor

Aufgaben

The candidate will be responsible for sustainability initiatives projects which includes evaluating and assessing the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices and performance of an organization. Ensure that businesses are complying with sustainability regulations, meeting environmental targets, and following best practices in sustainability. Sustainability Auditors conduct thorough reviews of processes and systems, providing recommendations to improve sustainability and reduce environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct and support clients in sustainability projects. Candidates will be required to but not limited to :

Gathering and analysing data related to resource use, waste management, carbon emissions, and other environmental metrics.

Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, areas of improvement, and actionable recommendations.

Ensure that the organization complies with relevant sustainability regulations, standards, and certifications (e.g Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA), National Environment Agency (NEA) Carbon Tax Verification, Greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions – ISO 14064, ISO 14067, ISO 14068, GHG Protocol)

Educate and train employees on sustainability related projects

Ensure timely completion of projects

Support development of new products & services in Sustainability

Involve in periodical technical exchange to improve knowledge in sustainability

Qualifikationen

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field is typically required. Experience in the following industries will be preferred :

Petrochemical

Bulk and speciality chemicals

Semiconductors and wafer fabrications

Possess minimum of three (0-3) years’ experience with Carbon or Sustainability related projects.

Candidate with sustainability project experience is most preferred. Other related GHG programs will also be considered (eg. ISO 14064-3, EU Emissions Trading System & etc.).

Minimum of two (0-2) years sustainability project experience in preferred.

Experience in performing activities for sustainability projects or consultancy
